Yeah yeah ... been MIA for a long time .. yeah .. my fault :) SORRY :) really really busy with life ... lots of things to do and errands to run around .. :)

Anyway, went to this little place to have some mexican food last weekend and found that it was good - do visit their link http://www.mrtacotruck.com if you want to know more about the food and the prices :)

This is our 2nd serving of nanchos but with different type of meat, ie chicken.

Verdict : Worth going back for 2nd visit :)

Had our lunch at NOBU @ InterContinental Hotel. It supposed to be a surprised where hubby did not tell both of us where we going for lunch - he just told us to get ready by 1130am and lunch will be at 12:00 noon.

When we reached the hotel, then only we knew where we going to eat :) Let's have a look what we had on that day :)

12 different types of appetiser
misha's main course (1) - Sauteed prawns and scallops with teriyaki sauce
Hubby's main course(1) - Beef Tenderloin with Wasabi Pepper Sauce
MINE main course (1) - Black cod Saikyo Yaki
Main course (2) - Hot Udon with Seafood Base (mine);Chirashi(Hubby) and lastly Hand rolls (Misha - Misha's a bit interesting. The chef actually came and taught her how to prepare the hand rolls and she is given all the ingredients to prepare her own :)
Desserts - Chocolate Bento Box (Green Tea Icecream with chocolate fudge)- Misha; Bread Pudding with Rum and Raisin Icecream -Mine and lastly Caramel Creme Brulee - Hubby's.

It was a lovely lunch. Everyone went back home HAPPY and full :)Well .. hope to go back there again SOOON!!

Misha has been staying at home since Wednesday (2 September) because her school was closed for one week. Reason?? High percentage of students having flu and because of the spreading of H1N1 again, the school has decided to close primary school.

Since no school, Misha has been quite busy at home - the students are given homeworks for 3 and 4 september - quite alot actually and besides school homeworks she has to do lots of exercises on her theory since her exam will be held next month. Anyway, I think it is good since all the works will keep her busy :)

Ok .. let's look at the new dishes I have tried :-

Every weekends are very busy for me. Once of the things that I have to do is sit down and plan for the following weekdays' dinners. I really do find that it is quite difficult to plan as I really do not know what to cook. Anyway, last weekend, Misha did tell me that she wanted to eat noodles and I have decided to try "Herbal Duck Noodles Soup" then.

Conclusion is that the soup did come out delicious and both bosses love it very much and requested me to cook again next time :)

Today's lunch is simple - just some grilled chicken breat and sambal fish. Since I did not include any vegetables, I have given her 2 portions of fruits :)

I also prepared Egg Tart for her snack. Hopefully, she will finish all. Hubby told me that Misha will definately finish what I have prepared for her since she loves my food very much .. well .. hopefully she able to finish all.

Today will be a more relax day - no extra activities BUT still will have lots of homeworks from school and she has to do ABRSM Past year questions in personal capacity since her exam will be held during the 1st week of October. Imagine, sitting for Grade 2 but only started learning since late June... hopefully she can pass :)

Basically, I have prepared nearly the same things for Misha today. Her lunch consisted of Prawn Sambal, Fried minced pork with potatoes, Sweet corn and some vegetables. I also gave her longan as fruits of the day :)

That's her lunch today -she requested for sausages and bread tomorrow since she will have her vocal class during lunch and only have 10 mins for lunch :) Need to think what to prepare besides the sausage/bread :)

School started two days ago ... but I did not prepare any lunch for her because for the first few days, she actually need to "take care" of her new friend-ie a new student.

Misha has to bring the girl around and accompany her until she is comfortable with the school environment :)

But yesteday, she told me that if possible, she would like me to prepare some lunch for her so that she can eat rather than eating sandwich from the school :)

Anyway, I have prepared something simple for her so that she can finish them quickly :)

Rice with some sambal ikan bilis/fried minced meat with potatoes and some veges; a small portion of oranges; sweet corn (in the blue wrapper); some junks! and Mr Juicy orange juice :)

That's her lunch for the day - yeah .. I supposed to decorate the rice .. with whatever cute things but .. NOOOO time!! I actually woke up at 730am .. which is considered late. Anyway, will try to do better next time :0

Misha - very happy excited - able to learn how to dance and sing :)

Will update more :) Oh yeah. .. . I do not need to accompany her today (ie at the school) - will send her there... and come back :) then pick her up again later in the afternoon

Something I think wrote to jot down.

Misha had passed her ABRSM Grade 2 Practical Exam - Flute ! She passed the exam with Merit even though she only started to practise consistently 2-3 months before the examination.

Frankly, I will expect her to pass only BUT pass with a merit does come as a surprise. Anyway, Misha, you did well ! Mummy and Daddy are very proud of you!

So, now she has to tell me what she wants as a rewards. Hahahaha .. . nothing comes free hor - kena reward her pulak :)

Yeah yeah .. High School Musical song! Been listening to this particular song almost everyday now since Misha loves it so so much :)

Misha started her summer holidays today - two weeks earlier than scheduled. Why? The HK government actually "requested" all kindergardens,primary schools and child day care to close yesterday because there is a "serious" case of H1N1 found in one of the school here. Was told that there is about 10-11 cases of H1N1 found in that one school ... anyway, for precaution sake - all kindy, primary school and child care MUST close for 2 weeks - ie 2 weeks before summer holidays!

In another word, Misha will have about 10 weeks CUTI!! 10 weeks!! What to do .. need to plan but one thing I knew is that she has to do maths workbook everyday hahaha that's our normal ritual during summer holidays :)

Ok lar .. wish me good luck - anyway, I am sure that I will have a fruitful 10 weeks with her :) Till then, ta ta :)

Report Card - Second Semester @ Y4WK

YES! Misha received her report card today ... well, not that excited lar since we already expected what teacher will write in the card:)

Basically, she is doing quite well in school. Her knowledge on most of the subjects are Outstanding except Chinese-consistent. So, Misha ... must put extra efforts in Chinese, ok?

Well, we hope that she will maintain this standard OR become better when she goes to Year 5 in September.

OH yeah ... something worth record down... :) Her teacher did mention something about her .. let's see .. what she has written :-

"Misha continues to be a principled and hard-working member of our class who can always be depended on the help out with classroom jobs and responsibilities. her enthusiasm towards her learning has continued throughout the year. Although her confidence as a communicator is an asset in many ways, she can sometimes be slightly domineering over less-confident communicators in her group. (Macam lar - my Misha bullies those less confident kids .. hahahaha) She is encouraged to lower her voices at times and give others more opportunities to share their ideas. (Another scarcastic remarks .. hahaha .. Misha told me that she wanted to see teacher so that the teacher can explain to her on this statement as she said that teacher never said that she has LOUD voices .. hahaha). Misha has continued to show commitment to her reading and has now widened her choice of reading materials to include a more varied selection of text types. She has shown improvement in her home-learning reflections and continues to look for ways to improve her understanding and skills"

Anyway, that's all for this round - will need to go to school on 19 June for Student Led Conference where the students need to explain to their parents on selected works that they have done :) And guess what, school will ends on 24 June ... It will be a long 8 weeks holidays!!! SUMMER HOLIDAYS!!!!

School Field Trip to Hong Kong History Museum

The Unit of Inquiry that Misha is doing in school is called "MIGRATION". Basically, the school wanted the students to know why people migrate etc etc etc. This will be their last UoI as school will be closed for the academy year on 24 June (Or 2 weeks earlier, if there is any H1N1 case found in the school).

Since I am the class parent for her class, I have to participate too. I will be going with the students today - to the History Museum. We will be going there by train!!

Hopefully, the batch of students under my case are easy to handle - otherwise havoc ... arghhh. Ok lar .. will blog more next round .. till then, have a good Monday :)

Updated : HKAPA emailed me this morning and mentioned that Misha has been selected as one of the Summer Musical School's (SMS) participants. She won't be involve in any MAIN role as this SMS is cater for kids from 9-21 years old.

She will be in the Makeover Artist group. This group consists of about 22 kids and most of them are seniors ie age 12 and above and she is the youngest!!! Hopefully, she will learn from them and of course, hopefully she will gain the experience(s) that she will remember :)

Till then, will update more later (since classes for SMS will start on 20 July) until then, she has to prepare herself for her flute exam (scheduled to be held on 29/5) and skating exam (scheduled to be held on 5/6) .... wish her luck ok?

YES! Monday, again! Monday meant shorter lunch time since Misha has to attend meeting from 1150 till 1220 and she only has 30 minutes for her lunch.

Misha requested for spaghetti for lunch today. I have prepared the sauce a night before. So, what I need to do in the morning is to boil the spaghetti and decorate it.

Since I have only like 20 minutes to prepare the spaghetti and pack them - I have decided to decorate it with something simple. Cubs came into my mind!

Woke up quite early today. Usually, will wake up at about 6am every morning. Translate chinese for Misha so that when she is awake, she can read and answer questions online. She has to do this EVERY morning. Since our chinese language are absolutely zero, we need to work harder. Anyway, it is still under our control so, we are happy about it!

Back to bento ... today's bento supposed to be a surprise for Misha. I have seen many bento-ers actually prepared "car" bento for their kids and being "kiasu" I also wanted to try.

Misha requested for salmon for lunch today. Besides salmon, I have prepared a new "dish" for her. Sweet potatoes!!

Grilled potatoes/cherry tomatoes/swet potatoes/brocolli/salmon marinated with tomato puree, lemon juice,salt,pepper and some soya sauce/french beans!

Verdict - Loves the lunch especially the sweet potatoes.. hahaha. Of course, nicely .. the sweet potatoes tasted sooo nice and sweet :)

Misha will have skating class on every friday. Friday is considered as one of the "craziest" day for her and for me, too! Why? Sigh .. she will finish school at 250pm and her skating class starts at 4pm. We need to rush to the train station to take a train there (to save money - if take cab one way costs us about HK110 - too expensive) .. So .. we need to RUSH!

Usually when reaches at the skating school, I will get some snacks for her. Since I am quite free this morning, I have decided to bake her some cupcakes! Lemon cupcakes to be exact!

Verdict - Misha loves the cupcakes very much and asked me to bake more for her but this round, she wanted to bake WITH me :)

Supposed to give Misha the above panda sandwich as her school lunch. But decided not to because I personally felt that they do not really look like panda at all .. hahaha .. looked like some funny creatures.

When Misha had that for breakfast instead, she reminded me many times to post it because she firmly said that they DO look cute :)

We love spicy food .. we really do :) So each time, when we are desperate for spicy food, we will definately take a cab to Wan Chai to makan. But each time, we have our meal there, it is NOT cheap. The fare for cab per way will costs us about HK150 .. so it is quite expensive just to have a decent meal :)

So, people like me that is kiamsiap will definately try to cook more spicy food at home .. . hahaha .. to save money :) Ok .. for dinner tonight, we have decided to have nasi lemak with sambal ikan bilis/Burmese Meat Curry - I used pork/kacang/timun and hard boiled eggs.

Let's have a look what I have prepared :)

Verdict : Both bosses love everything!!!! It is my first time cooking the burmese curry but it turns out perfect. Misha said that even the sambal ikan bilis is lovely - do you know why? hahaha ... it is because i grind the ingredients MYSELF rather than using those ingredients that I bought from KL Market .. hahaha .. see .. sendiri made ingredients definately taste better :)

Misha had requested for salmon for her school lunch. Bought a slice of salmon from the supermarket - marinated it overnight then, pan grill it on the morning :)

pan-grilled salmon/french beans/brocolli/grilled potatoes/sweet corn and grapes :)

After school : - Misha finished everything in the lunch box! She loved the salmon very much and she said that the salmon tasted very nice. Told her, of course the salmon was nice, it was marinated with so many different ingredients and it was left overnight in the fridge.

She asked me to prepare salmon again for her next week - guess I need to go to supermarket again on Wednesday to get a slice of salmon for her :) Ok lar, that's all for now .. bye and take care!

Today is the first day of school after the Easter holidays! I have prepared lunch for Misha. Let's have a look what's for her lunch :)

Tomato rice/grilled beef/tandori prawns/brocolli/cherry tomatoes decorated with two small eggs as cute looking chicks!

After school :- Misha mentioned that the grilled beef is nice BUT the tandori prawns are a bit wet. Maybe I should get rid of the "rempah" before grilling them. She loves the tomatoes rice very much and guess what I had the rice for lunch. Only the rice and it was tasty!!

Misha and myself will usually spend about 2 hours in a bookshop, usually on Friday. The reason is because we have to wait for Daddy to finish his work (yeah yeah ... at about 8pm) so that we can have dinner together since Misha's skating lesson ends at 5:30, so we basically have more than 2.5 hours to kill.

Where else to go especially it is a shopping complex that you go every week. So .. bookshop!!! Hahaha ... well, reading books in bookshop does not mean that we did not purchase any book. Every week, definately spend money on books.

Let's have a look what I have bought :-

Yeah .. Mao's Last Dancer. A friend told me that I have to read this ... ok lar .. buy lor .. at this moment, only read like 10 pages .. hahaha .. long way to go :)
The remaining books are recipe books. Planning what to cook for the week is quite hectic. Usually on the weekends, I will spend some time planning the menu for the week eg what to cook, what to buy from the market, what to buy from the supermarket, etc etc ... so .. hehehe .. no easy :)

I went to one of the Jap Mum's bento blog couple of days ago and saw one lovely bento that she has prepared. It looked really cute and I decided to COPY hers :)

Yesterday, went to bakery to buy the buns. Let's have a look what I have prepared for Misha's lunch today.

misha's lunch consisted of one egg tart/one "sandwich" with SPAM and another "sandwich" with sambal ikan bilis"/some tit bits and of course another container of fruits :)

That's what she had for lunch today and guess what, she told me that the "sandwiches" looked like gong gong (grandfather) and poh poh (grandmother) hahaha ... silly little girl !

Today is BEAR day - so I decided to use my new bear cutter to make a sandwich for Misha - yeah yeah, still sandwich because she has TOM meetings going on.

Today is another "sandwich" day since Misha will be having discussion with her other team mates. The discussion will be taken place at the 1st 1/2 hour during their school lunch. It will keep going till the real competition takes place :) .. which is about 10 days' away!

Ok .. today, I have prepared the sandwich with Spicy SPAM and eggs. Not really sandwich lar, but more like a birthday cake where the SPAM and eggs were arranged upwards :) Anyway, something new and HOPE that she will finish them!

Mypart time maid just informed me that today will be her last day working for me.

Well .. I did not ask her why she intended to stop when she passed me the house key but later, husband told me that another employer of hers mentioned to him that she has found a full time job with better salary!

So .. what will happened now? Anyway, told hubby I can take over her duties since previously, she only came in twice a week (3 hours each session) BUT husband said NOOOOOOOOO. He said that better look for a replacement. Soooo .. hopefully I will find a replacement soon!

Today I have prepared some rice for Misha's lunch in school. I also prepared some rolled eggs. The rolled eggs were secured by cute duckling picks that I bought long time ago :). Besides the eggs, she will also have some sambal and fried minced beef as dishes :)

The rice is decorated with very small flowers that can in three colors :) ie made from cucumber, cucumber skin and carrots .. they are really lovely. I personally think that the smaller the flower, the cuter they are :)

Ok .. that's for her lunch today. .. hope she likes it :)

Today's bento is a simple one. The day before I have decided what to prepare for her. I decided to buy small bun for her - to stuff with sambal ikan bilis, an egg tart, but it is not enough with this two small thing - then I decided to add one small slice of bread for her :)

Hope she will like it :)

top to bottom : Small bun stuffed with sambal ikan bilis - decorated with cheese/seaweed; an egg tart and small slice of cheese sandwich :)

Oh yeah, I did prepare a small container of fruits for her - but forgotten to take photo - anyway, it is a simple and no- deco fruits :)

Following photos were taken on one saturday morning at about 930am while Misha and myself were waiting for bus ..... (the longest trip bus we ever taken .. arghhh!)

So quiet, hor? Hehehe .. so this is one of the advantage staying far away from the Island .. hahahaha :) Peace and quiet ... can sleep peacefully but but .. unable to do so that morning - need to bring Misha downtown to watch "Disney on Ice" .. hahaha .. what a waste !

YES ! Another day .. another bento ! Well .. let's have a look what I have prepared :)

Every morning, the worst thing to do is tying Misha's long hair. She wanted different styles each day .. arghhh :)

Well .. today I have decided to try something different ... see what I have done to her hair .... :)

Nice? Asked her after school, anyone said that her hair is nice? She told me with a sad face, she said "No one even noticed my beautiful hair" Hahahaha .. guess my good work is not good enough :)

Must work harder to surf how to tie hair .. muahahaha :)

Bento on this particular day supposed to be something that Misha can eat fast since she has to attend the Chinese Reading Club during her 2nd period of lunch time. I have already decided to make sandwiches for her but she requested for rice.She wanted to eat rice with those Japanese toppings .. which I do not really fancy :(

Anyway, prepared rice in cubes for her. Each rice cube is tied by my stripes of eggs then decorated with tinnie winnie follows :) Must say that using seaweed as the ribbons are easier as eggs do not really stick to the rice - quite difficult :)

Prepared salmon for her too! The salmon was marinated overnight with lemon juice/oil/salt and pepper and then grilled in the morning. I also fried some minced meat for her - intended to make it into Hello Kitty shapes but .. sigh ... UNSUCCESSFUL .. failed! Anyway, it is ok .. can try again in future :)

I always wanted to make some characters using veges/eggs etc. Been telling Misha that I wanted to make the following - but keep postponing the idea .. sigh, too many things to do at home and even in School. March will definately a busier month .... sobs sobs!

Ok ... since I have decided to try out and since there are "ingredients" in the fridge, I sat down and start my assignment ... hahaha. The whole process took me about 2 hours and the outcome? Hm ... .. not so successful BUT I think worthwhile since it does look like Bratz (even a bit .. hahaha) Let's roll down :)

My 50th Bento !!!!!!!! 50th!!!! I have successfully prepared about 50 bentos for Misha since school started in September 2008!! Aiyah .. 50th bento .. also want to make noise I am sure many of you will think ... hahaha. Anyway, I am proud to say that ... say what? hahahaha .. anyway, I hope that I will be able to prepare more cute .... more colourful, tastier food for Misha in the future. ... :)

I have decided to prepare sandwiches for Misha today since she will only have 1/2 hour to have her lunch.

Let's have a look at what I have prepared .. hahaha. I considered it quite unsuccessful because hmm .. they do not really look cute! How disappointing :( Anyway, hope the 2nd time will be more successful :)

I have used two different bread here. Brown bread made from chocolate whereas the other one is carrot bread. Bought them from Breadtalk Bakery. Yeah .. breadtalk, we have an outlet here in HK :)

From top :

The brown dog was decorated with cheese/seaweed with nutella inside;
Teddy bear was decorated with cheese/seaweed with turkey ham inside;
Little rabbit decorated with seaweed (eyes) and little carrots (as nose) with eggs inside and lastly;
The brown bear with decorated with cheese (as cheeks), seaweed as eyes and carrot as lips (hahaha) and cheese in between :)

The sandwiches were supported by two little eggs so that the cute animal shaped sandwiches won't move.

Will try to prepare more colourful and cute animal sandwiches in future .. hahaha :) Till then, ta ta

Today I have prepared something special for Misha. Something that she has yet to see before ... hahaha :) Well .. let's see what I have prepared for her :)

Since V-Day is just around the corner, I have tried to make more heart shaped bento for her this week :)

Misha has her first flute recital on 8 February 2009. Hmmm ... she played very well despite hardly practise at home . She only practise for an hour before her class on every Wednesday but I did tell her that she has to practise more since her ABRSM exam is coming soon. I only took one photo of her playing flute :)

Will post the related video once husband transfers the video to notebook. Oh yeah, Misha, Mum and Daddy are very proud of you .. keep up the good work ok? We love you :)

From this week onwards, Misha will only have 1/2 hour to have her lunch in school instead of the usual 1 hour lunch break. What happened to the other 1/2 hour? Well ... she has to attend different extra curriculum for the other 1/2 hour.

Since, she has only 1/2 hour for lunch, she has requested for something that she can eat fast :) Anyway, I have prepared fried popiahs for her today and hope she will like them :)

Went to crumpler Showroom at Tsim Sha Tsui last weekend with the intention to purchase one of their backpack. The model we are looking for is Photo/Laptop Backpack - Barge. We wanted the smaller version and black color but the showroom did not see :(

Next, we went to Mongkok to look for the particular color of backpack we wanted.

Kuih Bahulu - First Attempt

Since CNY is just around the corner and after seeing many bloggers baking cookies etc etc, sigh .. being a kiasu I also wanted to try even though I have not baked any chinese new year cookies or kuih kuih before.

So to start, I decided to bake Kuih Bahulu .. hahaha .. supposed to be one of the easiest one to do so :) Even though it was first attempt, the kuih do come out nicely but a little bit hard :) Maybe too much flour.

Well since there are extra flours/sugar etc etc, I did make another batch with reduce flour and guess what, it was perfect .. hahaha :) Anyway, let me show you my kuih bahulu :)

Kung Woo Bean Curd Shop @ SSP, HK

Kun Woo Bean Curb Shop is one of the pioneer shops at Sham Shui Po area. We "found" this particular shop when hubby went to buy his xbox games nearby.

This particular Kung Wo shop on Pei Ho Street started operated since 1960s. What is so special about this shop, I am sure many of you will ask. Well ... this shop sells bean curd dessert and other bean curd products :)

I love their bean curd dessert (dau fu fa) ever since the first time I tried and I can see many locals love it to :)

And going into the shop is like stepping back in time. The high ceiling, floor tiles, huge fans and cash baskets made of rattan are the same as those used decades ago.

Today is Misha's first day back to school after "rotting" at home for nearly 2 weeks. I did not prepare any bentos for her during that period .. hahaha .. I am LAZY!!

I only prepared spaghetti for her today as her school lunch :) Hopefully, tomorrow onwards I will be hardworking enough to prepare more interesting lunch for her :)

Today is already the last day of 2008. Another brand year is just a day away :) What have you achieved and what are you going to achieve in the new year?

I have not achieved much this year yet nothing to regret about. I am thankful to have a loving and understanding husband and of course, a sensible daughter with me.

I have learnt that there are many things that I have to "survived" by myself, no more depending on people and must be more independent :) Learnt that I need to travel more .. hahahaha .. since I am getting older. Learnt that I have to be more gentle with Misha since she is growing and learnt that I have many many more things to learn :)

So, let's welcome 2009 with open arms and hopefully this brand new year will be a better year for everyone :)

Misha requested for sambal ikan bilis for her lunch today and since I still have some minced pork, I decided to fry some mini minced pork balls for her :)

Her lunch consists of :

Rice with carrot/egg as tulip flowers; brocolli as grass;
Fried mini minced pork balls
Roll up eggs - 1st time doing it - quite successful :)
Sambal ikan bilis
Fruits - mini apple from Japan, a small slice of Korean Persimmon and a piece of choco

Bought the alphabet cutters from Chooi Peng earlier. Did not have the chance to use it till today :)

Decided to surprise Misha but but ... the alphabets are quite small .. cannot see clearly :) Anyway, it is better than nothing right?

Prepared the following for her lunch :-

Overall, it was a lovely lunch for her. Her friends said that the rice look cute :)

Agreed with Misha the night before that she should buy school lunch from the Cafeteria since I do not have things to cook for her .. hehehe. But on the morning, I have decided that I will cook something for her .. something simple will do.

Let's have a look at my creative bento . .. hahaha .. which consists of egg/luncheon meat/corn/brocolli and carrot :)

Misha's lunch is quite simple today .. rice with scallops/salmon and sweet corn. She's quite surprised to see the rice actually which were actually wrapped by the seaweed :)

Today is Monday. Monday is one of the busiest day for Misha. Usually, she will have one hour lunch break but since last 2 months, her lunch break is only have 1/2 hour lunch break everyday since she has to attend challenge programmes for the following 1/2 hour. Since it is only 1/2 hour lunch, I tend to give her less food and something simplier .. so that she can eat fast and less messy :)

Today I have prepared rice together with some fried minced pork, sambal ikan bilis and some pan fried lean pork :)

Brought Misha to MV when we were back in Kuala Lumpur last week. She wanted to take photos with make over .. well . yeah . you heard it right .. :) She has been doing that for couple of times .. since .. about .. 2-3 years back

Anyway .. come and have a look at the few photos taken :)

She looks much more mature than her age right? Psst .. she is only 8.5 years old :)

Reached HK on saturday night .. sigh ... I really miss HK :) I think I miss hubby more .. :) Good to be at home :)

Spent 10 days in KL (longest trip back home) .. good and fruitful trip. Able to meet up with a few friends and make a few new friends too .. :)

Bought these when shopping with Misha couple of weeks ago. Been looking for this sauce pen for some time. Actually I did order a set from Chooi Peng but but but since I found it in HK I really can't resist to buy .. hehehe .. now I will have 2 sets of the sauce pen :)

The cutters are Halloween Theme cutters - husband said "Can use once a year only" Told him, no harm using it since the shapes are quite nice :) Till then :) Byee

Misha requested for spicy food today. Woke up earlier since I need to do a few things in order to prepare it.

I have prepared sambal ikan bilis/fried kangkung and beef rendang for her - actually not really just for her. We will be eating that for dinner too :)

rice with french green peas/eggs without yolk and pumpkin shaped carrots

beef rendang/sambal ikan bilis/kangkung/sweet corn/brocolli
and two slices of pumpkin shaped carrots
longans and grapes :)

Verdict : She loves the meal very much especially the mornig glory :)

Today is Monday - first day back to school after one week school holidays. So looking forward to prepare school lunch for Misha :)

Ingredients were bought from a supermarket the night before Monday - things are quite expensive there, anyway it is ok provided that Misha able to finish everything :)

Let's have a look what I have prepared for her :)

cute looking shaped rice :) - Misha so happy when I showed her this before I packed them in her lunch bag - she said "ooooh .. so cute!!"

brocolli/carrot/scallops with garlic salt and a bit of herbs (Misha's favourite!) and of course a small portion of salmon :)

apples cut into pooh shaped/jelly/cube cheese :)

She finished everything even though she has only 20 minutes to have her lunch. She has to attend Challenge Programmes during the 1st part of one hour lunch on every Mondays to Fridays except on Wednesday. That's all for today!

YES!! I am going back to KL with Misha today .. yeah yeah .. she is going to "ponteng" school for about 6 days hehehe ... bad bad Mum .. but but I have to bring her back with me since no will take care of her if I go back alone :)

Why going back to KL? Hmmmm ..

to settle some matters related to the house
to buy things .. yeah .. this is the best part
to meet up with some old and new friends
to meet up with parents :) Misha misses her grandparents very much. The last time they spent time with her was in July .. sigh .. time passes real fast .. that was about 5 months ago ... :(
to get my bento things from Chooi Peng :) so looking forward to see the accessories :0
to pass bento things to some friends that they ordered from me
to eat eat eat and eat :0
