Misha requested me to prepare rice and dishes for her lunch. She told me that she wanted to rice. I woke up earlier today to cook rice and prepare the dishes for her :)

Let's see what I have prepared :-

lunch - boiled eggs with sambal/brocolli/carrot/fried minced pork and some vegetables :)
snack - kuih lapis cut into love shapped/seaweeds/jelly and mashmellow :)
fruits - pear and beans

Misha told me that the sambal is so delicious and told me that I should give her more. Will do so in future, darling :)

On 8 September 2008 was Misha's first field trip for Year 4. The students were required to go to a park nearby ie Ma On Shan Park to observe the surroundings and to interview a few people relating to their Unit Of Inquiry, ie Community.

Each student was requested to ask the people at the park how they felt about the community in that area and how to improve it, if needed to.

They actually left the school at 9am. Had their snack at the park and returned to the school before lunch, ie before noon.

I did not prepare heavy lunch for Misha as I felt that she will be too tired to eat :(. Anyway, let's have a look what I have prepared for her :-

verdict : She finished all the food given to her. Now, I need to decide what to prepare for her ie for her next field trip that supposed to take place on the last week on September. They are going to Lamma Island to observe how the people live there. Lamma Island is very far from the school and the students need to take a ferry to go there :(

I am going to ...

Today, I will be going to Lamma Island with Misha and her classmates. This will be their second class field trip.

There will be 7 parent helpers (included myself) and 1 teacher going with the students. Each adult will be taking care of 3-4 students. Since I am going, therefore, Misha will be under my group together with another boy and 2 girls.

We will leave the school at about 9am. It takes about 1 hour to reach the Central Pier where we need to take a 30 minutes ferry to Lamma Island. This will be my 1st time to Lamma Island, too :)

The students will spend about 2 hours there and at about 1.30 we will leave the Island to come back to School. I really hope that tomorrow is a good day ie no so hot and no rain ... just nice weather :)

Ok .. that's all for now. Will try to take photos to post later ok? Till then, take care and me signing off now. Oh yeah, need to bring Misha to the skating rink for her to practise skating. She had her first class on 22/9 and she loves to skate hahaha. .. wonder how long she will have interest in this field :)

Oh yeah, I am in the process of scanning Misha's baby photos - have a look at one of her photo. It was taken when she is only 3 months old :) hehehehe :)
