In my daughter's eyes :)

In my daughter's eyes
I am a hero
I am strong and wise
and I know no fear
But the truth is plain to see
She was sent to rescue me
I see who I wanna be
In my daughter's eyes
In my daughter's eyes
everyone is equal
Darkness turns to light and the
world is at peace
This miracle God gave to me gives me
strength when I am weak
I find reason to believe
In my daughter's eyes
And when she wraps her hand
around my finger
Oh it puts a smile in my heart
Everything becomes a little clearer
I realize what life is all about
It's hangin' on when your heart
has had enough
It's giving more when you feel like giving up
I've seen the light
It's in my daughter's eyes
In my daughter's eyes I can see the future
A reflection of who I am and what will be
Though she'll grow and someday leave
Maybe raise a family
When I'm gone I hope you see how happy
she made me
For I'll be there
in my daughter's eyes

HK - Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree

:)

Another famous tourist attraction in HK is the Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree. If you do watch HK series you will definately come across this particular tree.

This wishing tree is actually located near a temple in Lam Tsuen. If you do not watch those HK series, you must be wondering what is so special about this tree, right? Ok, this is a wishing tree ie most HKers believe that you can make your wishes come true by throwing a scroll onto the tree. The scroll also known as "bao die" ie colored wishing paper. You have to write your wish(es) on the paper and wrapped it up from bottom to topThe "bao die" will be tied to three oranges. Once the "bao die" is tied properly, the wisher can tossed it up to the tree, the higher it hung to a branch the more higher chances of your wishes do come true.

But now, the public is advised not to toss the "bao die" onto the tree because the tree is too old and going to collapse :( What the management at that area advised is to hang the "bao die" at a board next to the trees.

So, who wants to come to Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree to make their wishes do come true?

HK- Ladies' Street

OK .. ok .. I am back AGAIN .. hahaha :)

Hmm .. what should I post? Let me think . ok .. let me show you one of HK's favourite destination ok? The place is called Ladies' Street. Ladies' Street in HK is exactly like Petaling Street and it is an open air bazaar. There are about 100 stalls selling all different things :)At Ladies' Street, you will be able to find the cheapest and largest collections of clothes, watches, bags, scarfs, toys and many many more unexpected things :) Well, the stalls start business from morning till about 11 pm on weekdays and maybe until mid night during weekends.

I was there last 2 weeks and able to take a few photos, so, do have a look at those photos ok?

Besides buying things at Ladies' Street, there are many eatery places around the area. One of the famous dessert show located near Ladies Street is called Hui Lau San.

So, does the Ladies' Street in HK looks like Petaling Street in KL? Hehehehe :)
