How I spent my 40th birthday .. :)

Celebrated my BIG 40th birthday on 14 March 2008 .. yeah yeah .. 40th birthday .. sigh .. me really getting old .. hahaha .. anyway, it is ok ... life still goes on :)

Ok .. any BIG celebration? No lar .. just went out to have dinner. Hubby reserved a table for us at Lawry's Prime Rib at Causeway Bay.

Guess what we have ordered :-

Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail - to be shared

pumpkin and fresh prawn soup - mine
mushroom soup - Misha
lobster soup - hubby
spinning bowl salad - a plate each for us
my main course - The English Cut
The Diamond Jim Brady Cut- Hubby
Salmon- Misha
Sizzling Skillet of Mushroom
Yorkshire Pudding

It was a lovely dinner - all of us enjoyed ourselves very much.

Another big surprise I received is from these two ladies, ie Annie and Min. They actually sent me a birthday present all the way from Kuala Lumpur and it was really really a surprise to me :)

This is what they got for me ... a lovely set of clothes :)

Once again, thank you very much . Oh yeah, not forgetting, they did give me a birthday card too!! Thank you :)

Early birthday present .. hehehe

Went to Mong Kok yesterday with the intention to find something to eat. Once we reached there husband said "Let's go and get your surprise" .. Suprised? Hmmm.... I knew ... my birthday present!

I wanted to buy a digital slr since 1-2 months back but unable to decide which model to buy. It is either Nikon or Canon. So, yesterday, we went to two shops to ask around, which brand is better. Most of the people we asked, mentioned that Canon is better than the other brands. Why better? :) Easier to use, has integrated cleaning systems, etc etc but most importantly it is lighter than the other brands.. haha :)

I have yet to learn how to use it. Will try soon :) Told husband to read up the manual for me since I am really really lazy to do so.Thank you for the birthday present, loh kong! hugs hugs!
